I'll try, but my mediocre English might make it worse...

'Combined Hex' is in fact the aspect ratio. Instead of using the one from your resolution, you use a smaller one. In-game resolution is unchanged, but the picture's lower aspect ratio adds black bars on the sides. It's still Multi-monitor, but with less issues than using the full span of your display.

For example if your resolution is 5760x1080 (Combined Hex ABAAAA40), you don't use ABAAAA40. Get the Combined Hex of a narrower resolution: 00007040 (3840x1024).

The result will be close to this:

Instead of this:

See ? "Less off-centered", if that even means anything :silent:

The edit takes 2 seconds... The exe is 60 MB. Would be great if you just gave it a try.
All you need is a hex editor, I use Notepad++ with the HEX-Editor extension readily available from the Plugin Manager. Once it's installed, click the H on the toolbar to convert gibberish into hexadecimal for your editing purposes. Follow the step-by-step method from the Detailed Report and let me know if you're lost at any stage.

This was the first time I had to use a hex editor and it did take two seconds but I'd add a couple of implied steps to the guide

1. Open the game and set the resolution to 1920x1080 and close the game
2. Google a Hex Editor there are a bunch of free ones; I used HxD.

3. Use ResHex to find the Combined Hex value of your resolution
As mentioned previously in this thread ABAAAA40 is 5760x1080, 2560x1080 is 26B41740 and 3440x1440 is 8EE31840
4. Open Unravel.exe in a hex editor.
5. Find 1 occurrence of 398EE33F and replace it with your Combined Hex value.
Save and play, Unravel is now Hor+.

398EE33F is the hex code for 16:9 ratio so if you're like me and you tried to do this before starting up Unravel you wouldn't find it. For some reason the game defaulted to 800x600. But changing it in the in game options menu worked and 398EE33F appeared in the hex editor.

Also Scavvenjahh your English is great that's a super helpful explanation.

Thank you. It's my compliment fishing skills I'm most proud of anyway.

Additional steps could be helpful, but you may be mistaken here: Unravel.exe is never modified by in-game options. The freshly downloaded exe dated 1/12/2016 17:36 contains '398EE33F', and the string does not get modified by in-game settings, I've double-checked this by downloading the entire game again on my other PC.

Options are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Unravel\settings**********.pro and deleting this file forces the game to re-detect available resolutions upon next launch. The black bars however depend entirely on the exe.

In the search box select Datatype: Hex-values and you should find it.
