Hi all,

There seems to be similar problems with 21:9 (2560x1080) and the UI in XCOM 2 as it was in XCOM:EU but not as bad. I tried the fix for XCOM:EU listed on WSGF as the ini config files are similar but it mad thing worse. I think a slight adjustment to the DefaultAspectRatio & ConstrainedAspectRatio should do the trick, I'll post any findings here.

XCOM: Enemy Within WSGF fix:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\Config\XComCamera.ini

[Engine.Camera]
DefaultAspectRatio=1.778
bConstrainAspectRatio=true
ConstrainedAspectRatio=2.37037

Find your XComEngine.ini file under C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config
Then find:
[Engine.LocalPlayer] AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainXFOV
Change that with this:
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
That fix's most of the 21:9 issues.

It seems the ini files are inherited from XCOM:EU/EW but support is quite different this time around and some settings are either inactive or better left alone. DefaultAspectRatio and ConstrainAspect for example are useless, unless you really want to add black bars to the picture !
