Tek Syndicate got the details from Dell. It is a TN panel (but apparently a good one), has DP and mini-DP inputs, and DP out. With it being 30Hz at 4k, I wonder if it can do 60Hz at 2k (2560x1440) or 1080p.

Does that mean it's using a single scaler to only get 30Hz?

IMHO still not worth it as not 60Hz or higher, just got to wait for the tech to get there.... it won't take long to get there, I hope anyway

Fully agree with you here, 30Hz is not acceptable for desktop and gaming use IMHO, although I am very glad that these monitors are getting more and more affordable so if anything, these monitors released at their current MSRP will further push these prices down.

With DP 1.2 it has to be 60hz. With rumors and speculation floating around with UHD people are often assuming specification and not really checking. People make an illogical assumption that UHD = HDMI 1.4 = 30hz. If it has a DP 1.2 port in it, that train of thought is no longer applicable. If it's still only doing 30hz and has a Dp 1.2 port in it, they totally screwed up the input board design on this thing.
