Last month I tried my hand at my first video build log. I re-build the rig into the Corsair Graphite 380T mini-ITX, and updated to the new AMD A10-7870K APU and added a Corsair H55 Quiet water cooler for the CPU.
I start the series with a review of my old Silverstone SG-10 case, and outline why I wanted to rebuilt my Living Room PC (it's really built for games, not media) into a different case. I also showcase the different components used in the build, with special focus given to the case and PSU. I then do two rounds of building on the case, using the second to fix shortcomings from the initial build. After that I do a short reviews of each component used in the build.
Learned a lot of things during the experience like: get a second person to be camera man, get some better lighting, and plan better so it all goes quicker. But, I still wanted to share the video series that I put together of the build and the whole experience. I welcome your feedback, as I'd like to make this a regular feature on the site.
