Review of the LG 34UM67 34" Ultrawide PC display - featuring AMD FreeSync technology. The video itself is 1080p60 here on YouTube. The FreeSync demos show 1080p60, 1080p120, and 720p240 footage, along with side-by-side comparisons.

The panel is 2560x1080 34" ultra wide IPS, which runs at 75Hz. This will ensure silky smooth frames around, and above the "magic" 60fps PC gamers strive for.

On the prototype I tested, the FreeSync range is from 48Hz - 75Hz at 2560x1080. LG has informed me that current shipping product has FreeSync enabled from 40Hz - 75Hz. This is a vast improvement, and gives a full 35fps range of FreeSync capability.

Thanks for the great review.

I am looking forward to buy the little brother 29UM67.

I was just wondering that there will be a new revision with freesync starting at 40hz.
The Lg-Hotline couldn't commit this information. So do you have any further (official) information about that? When will it be available?

I can ask for specifics. The info I previously have is "we upgraded the 34UM67 refresh rate to 40-75Hz". Also, I do like this res better at 29". Pixels are tighter, and I'm not "expecting" a higher res here.

Great review bud!
I would either buy this or the ROG Asus 27" monitor. But what i really wanna do ( if i hit the lottery) is buy three Panasonic 4K TVs, each with Display Ports connected to each of my three SLI GTX 980 EVGA graphics cards! Can you imagine the panoramic view of three 55 inch 4K TVs while playing the latest Battlefield or Need for Speed PC games! Makes my mouth water just to think about, anyway that is my dream gaming setup...

PDP Stealth Xbox ONE Wired Controller for decreased latency.
