| Post subject: | PLP Support Confirmed in AMD Catalyst 15.3 Beta |
Support for PLP (Portrait-Landscape-Portrait) was announced by AMD with the recent launch of the Omega driver. Support was earmarked for the R9 285, which included new hardware to support the mixed orientations. However, once tested, users realized that the support was not actually in the Omega driver. The recently released 15.3 Beta driver from AMD does indeed offer the promised support, with video proof below. For NVIDIA users, and AMD users who don't have an R9 285, WSGF Insider imusrt has an extensive blog series of manual PLP instructions.
