You should ask that in the Steam Community hub. There is currently no Topic mentioning Side Monitors turning off in Surround/Eyefinity Fullscreen.

Upon examination, it looks like the game is designed with a 16:9 base (16:9 PC and PS4 look like the same FOV). Anything narrower than 16:9 is Vert+, and anything wider than 16:9 is Hor+ (tested with 21:9 2560x1080). Based upon the submissions, multi-monitor seems to support this, as well. I wanted to put that out there in case a re-evaluation was deemed necessary.

On this subject, 21:9 works great. No issues experienced. Can anyone tell me which area the other gameplay screenshots came from? I don't know if I've already gone past that point. My 21:9 shot is from a different area, but the FOV changes should be readily apparent. Would prefer to keep it consistent, though.

Can we change the "MaintainYFOV" setting to an optional edit based upon the above since it maintains the 4:3 vertical FOV? I don't know about 16:9, but at 21:9 it is too fisheye for my preference.

Looks like you found it ! I still think the starting area would be a better choice, but anyway. Could you attach your save file to the DR ? It should be located in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\HellbladeGame\Saved\SaveGames\

Edit: nevermind, I got it and will attach it myself.
