Just to check, the UI becoming over sized in the java version could be easily fixed by changing the video settings, GUI Scale setting from Auto to normal. If that option still exists and works the scores are probably wrong. If not Microsoft are idiots.

Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition does not have the UI scaling option. This version is based on the Pocket Edition rather than being a port of the original computer version so there are various gameplay and feature differences.

This is still a beta, so this behaviour might change in the future. There is a request for UI scaling on the feedback site.

Fair enough, I knew it exists in the core version figured I would check incase it was something you was unaware of and it did exist :)

I have updated the report to cover the new UI scaling behaviour. The HUD/UI now scales correctly by default for ultra-widescreen and multi-monitor aspect ratios; the size can also be adjusted manually in-game similar to the original version of Minecraft. Multi-monitor still has some stretched menus.
