I spoke to the dev's in relation to this game, and they said they wouldn't be able to fix it, but would look at implementing support in their future games - so I guess that's a positive. I remember also talking to Helifax and he said it was impossible to fix - or it took too much time and wasn't worth it, unfortunately - because it's a great game.

You beat me to it Revy ;) but the game should be 16:9 anamorphic, not stretched. You must set both the resolution AND the aspect ratio manually from the options menu.

Haha, yeah I saw your post so I went ahead and created it. (Hope you don't mind...)

Also thank you very much for pointing out that I needed to change the aspect ratio as well, thought that it would automatically use the correct one...
-> Updated the DR accordingly! :rockout:

Cheers

UWS screenshots are up. Big thanks for the DR btw, mine was not quite ready at all
I've lowered the MM grade one notch, because anamorphism basically means no support. It doesn't mean you can't play at your native res, just that the game is oblivious to your screen real estate, so - no medal.
I'm less and less sure about UWS though: does pillarboxing mean B, C, D ? Was this ever firmly decided ? So I've graded both C for now.

The game supports the craziest ARs no problem... If only it could lose its "HD blinkers" :(
The anime-like FMVs are 1280x560 videos, so they *should* look great in UWS...

...sadly though they're windowboxed past 16:9 :(² Maybe something can be done with those letterbox*.lua script files in Steam\SteamApps\common\mark_of_the_ninja\data\movies ?
