This solution worked for me in addressing the #132 error caused by the 2gig limit: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1874252106

Basically, you hack the exe to allow wow.exe to address more than 2gig of ram.

I'm now playing wow on the highest settings at 5760x1080 and it is brilliant and crash-free.
