I just realized this was for the demo. :D

I guess I better add some screens for the retail.

New screens aren't needed, but retail confirmation is certainly appreciated.

Screenshots of full-version features that aren't in the demo would be most useful, especially if they reveal any anomalies. Or if you can confirm that there aren't any.

Will take some work. :(

The game tends to crap out when the resolution gets to high. Characters invisible in the tutorial and smaller game screens tend to flicker and duplicate images.

I will test which resolutions work OK and which are a headache. Sigh.

Perhaps it is a driver issue, or a vista issue, but I cannot get this to work.

In version 1.0 the game will simply crash when it is loading assets if I change the resolution in the config file.

In version 2.0, the game will run at the custom resolution, but all of my characters are invisible. If I revert the cfg back to something like 800x600, the characters become visble again.

In version 3.0, same thing happens as version 2.0.

Bummer, because I really wanted to revisit this game.

What resolution are you trying to use? I have not tested all but the higher resolutions have the invisible character problem.

It may be Vista. I will try and get working resolutions posted for XP in a day or so. That way you can try and locate the problem.

This is what I use for the game version.

1-Patch #1

2-Patch #2

3-Circle of Eight Mod Pack Final 5.0

4-Circle of Eight Mod Pack Upgrade (Latest version)

Ther Circle of Eight Mod Pack already has the third patch installed with additional fixes and enhancements. Maybe it would help with some of your problems.

Good luck. :)

One other thing. Mod pack requires NET framework. Just FYI.

You are correct sir! It was only at my native rez (1920x1080) that my characters disappear. I can run any lower rez and it is fine.

Thanks for the info!

So I would say that I can confirm that 1920x1080 does NOT work correctly. The game runs, the menus look great, but the people are invisible.
