Read Full Detailed Report - Darkest of Days

Darkest of Days is an FPS from 8Monkey Studios, published by Phantom EFX. The game is seperated from the average FPS game by using mainly the Civil War and World War 1 and its settings, two time periods not often depicted in action video games. Sometimes you will use period weapons which are slow and cumbersome, and then you will be granted a modern day weapon with which to cause havoc, which always feels very satisfying. Despite suffering from some performance issues and a small budget, Darkest of Days is a unique experience I found fun through to the end, and I finished the 8-10 hour game in just a few days.

So, are there no singleplayer anomalies that affect widescreen?

And I'm downloading the demo right now to see if 1920x1200 works.

Nope... played the whole game in 16:9, played most of the sniper level in all resolutions.

Game has pretty much the pinnacle of widescreen support, other than the stupid load screens.

Just tried the demo. It gave me motion sickness. But, 1920x1200 works.

Also, there was a hor + cut-scene at the beginning.

Certified.

Old thread so sorry for dragging this up after so much time...

Havent played this game for a long time, just attempted to start it and the screen immediately goes black, but Audio works.

Can see several posts on steam about it, but no solution and I am pretty certain its something to do with PhysX.

I assume you guys are running AMD cards for eyefinity? Ive got a couple of 7970 6gb cards and it definitely wont work for me even if I just use one monitor. Would be interested to know what you used to get the game started if you can remember this far back.

Thx
