Read Full Detailed Report - StarCraft

StarCraft is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The first game of the StarCraft series was released for Microsoft Windows on 31 March 1998. The game has had its storyline adapted and expanded through a series of novels, the expansion pack StarCraft: Brood War and two authorized add-ons. The sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, was released in July 2010.

Set in the 26th century, the game revolves around three species fighting for dominance in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy known as the Koprulu Sector: the Terrans, humans exiled from Earth skilled at adapting to any situation; the Zerg, a race of insectoid aliens in pursuit of genetic perfection, obsessed with assimilating other races; and the Protoss, a humanoid species with advanced technology and psionic abilities, attempting to preserve their civilization and strict philosophical way of living from the Zerg. The game has been praised for pioneering the use of unique factions in real-time strategy gameplay and for a compelling story.

Wow... that's a little bit mad.

It's a shame that 1920x1200 doesn't work, though. :(

Just thought I'd update this a little. Latest patch for Starcraft seems to break this. It still works... sort of... but at random times in a map suddenly map scrolling will break, and at the end of every map the game crashes.

:(

Thanks for the updated res expander, Cranky. However, game still buggered. The camera scroll breaking is fixable in this updated one by shifting back to 640x480 then back to the res you were in... but the crash as level completes is still there. :(

I cannot get this to work, no matter what. When I start insectloader the game starts, but all I have is small mis-colored window in the center of the screen (or in the upper left hand corner). What am I doing wrong? This thing seems to work perfectly for everyone but me!

Where's the file to download? I can't find it anywhere on the page.
Thank you.

The missing file is back, straight from PCGamingWiki.
