Read Full Detailed Report - rFactor

rFactor is a computer racing simulator, designed with the ability to run any type of four-wheeled vehicle from street cars to open wheel cars of any era. rFactor aimed to be the most accurate race simulator of its time. Released in November 2005, rFactor did not have much competition in this market; however it featured many technical advances in tire modeling, complex aerodynamics and a 15 degrees of freedom physics engine.

Where'd your pictures go , Rich? :)

Good new for rFactor: ISI (the devloper) has stated that the next release will have improved triple head support, where the UI, HUD, and rear views will be restricted to the center screen only. This means no more stretched interface and all of the HUD interface in front of you where you can look at it without crashing. :)

Hi JKeefe,

They were on Maherie's server which I guess is down. I am trying to find something local here at Matrox that I can used to host my images.

Also that is great news, where did you hear this from?

Please click the link in my fist post. I posted an inquiry at RaceSimCentral about customizing the rFactor HUD for the purpose of getting things back onto the center monitor, and the first response is from an ISI employee stating that it would be included in the next release (i.e. patch).

The latest rFactor version (1150) did indeed fix all triplehead issues when in-car. However, it seriously porked some of the GUI. See the referenced post for a followup I posted to ISI showing some of the issues:

What's the solution for this? I don't see it in the Matrox SGU list.
