Read Full Detailed Report - Project Eden

Project Eden is a hybrid between first- and third-person shooter with an emphasis on teamwork and puzzle solving over combat. Players switch between control of four UPA (Urban Protection Agency) agents, each with their own special abilities, as they work their way through a city that has grown upward and upward, leaving delving buildings and neighborhoods "below city limits.".

Among other unique mechanics of Project Eden is the fact that player characters don't die; instead, they are respawned at the last checkpoint, where their health is fully restored. With its emphasis on puzzle-solving over combat, the game may be thought of as a cyberpunk updating of The Lost Vikings, as it has more in common with that game developed by Blizzard Entertainment than traditional first- or third-person shooters.

A single player can control any of the four characters at any given time, and other players can jump in at any time and assume control of team members.

Interesting. The "anamorphic" option seems kind of useless - the only way it would look right is if you used a 4:3 resolution on a widescreen display and set the display to stretch it out. But if the game supports widescreen resolutions anyway, that shouldn't be necessary.

Anyway, the "1920x1080 4:3" looks like a Hor+ version of "1600x1200 4:3," correct HUD and everything, so it would seem like the best solution for this game is to simply bump up the resolution and not mess with the other settings.

Very cool looking screens. What kind of game is this? Six years old - I could probably run it well.

Very interesting screens, thanks for taking the time post them. 8)

That 1920x1080 16:9 anamorphic shot looks so skiiiiny, hehe. It does serve to show however, that there are quite a few ways one can 'interpret' widescreen, especially given the variant nature of people's individual setups. Well done.
