Reading the BF blog it appears there will be paid DLC but they are also sticking to keeping all the maps free so they don't end up as ghost towns. What else will they be selling then? Costumes? Weapons?

It comes down to assuming everyone lives the way you do and has the internet you do and all your friends do, real life or otherwise.

The world is a varied place and the people here are a minority, I feel that a single player game needing internet is unreasonable for those reasons.

As long as everyone agrees to recognize JugoRthé, supreme god of arguments, I will allow this to continue.

Bioshock 2 is an expansion, strangely with worse graphics than the last one. This game would be amazing in the hands of modders but sadly that will not happen. Nothing special.

Original Bioshock level design seemed much more inspired and scenic. I dunno, this one is definitely worse. I didn't care for the original much either though, by no means was it an innovative masterpiece as many outlets made it out to be.

Would have had great mods too.

[quote]Funny thing, Combat Testing issued me a beta key for BC2, but they banned me years ago so I can't actually access the key they issued to my account. Oh well. Banned eh? You sound like a troublemaker. :cheers I didn't do much of anything. I once joked that I was 11 years old and two days late...

Well keep in mind that it is a beta, and still has over a month to go... Right? It's out in March? Also keep in mind: If they are indeed shipping March, they would HAVE to have gone gold by now. This is what we're getting on release date, anything else will come in a patch. It's not a beta, it's a ...

Someday, someday they will make an RPG that will allow hardcore evil without forcing you to a good ending no matter what.

Please, anyone, call from the mounts if you have to: Where is my game where I can defeat the heroes of the story and go on an epic campaign to take over a land?

Already set for a March release... looks good enough.

Says you can "Import" your character or start anew. Does that mean this is not so much a real expansion as a stand alone expansion?

Atari and Wizards of the Coast. Both parties will be contacted once the mod is completed to ask permission for public release.

They're going to make an entire mod, and then ASK if they can release it? What happens if they say no? They throw it away?

Does HalfLife 2 = Counter Strike?

Never played HL2 once, but played CS for years and still go back to it from time to time.

Does egg = firetruck?

It's too early to fairly decide whether Dragon Age deserves such a high status. When we can look back on it in a year or two however, I believe it will be very significant to the classic RPG genre, proving it can still be done and reinvigorating that environment.

Is there are disappearing characters? I'm afraid of putting good gear on people after being burned in other games when they vanish in the story and take all my loot with them!

Amazing game. My store bought copy came with some silly codes for "Fury of Shale" and some armor. I don't have the Wizards Keep or whatever, and for 7.00 I probably won't get it unless I hear it's VERY good.
