I'm sure 'ergonomic experts' would disagree but to some of us wrist pad/rests are worse, every keyboard I've tried with one, I end up ripping it off. They make my wrists hurt, while not having any, I've never had my wrists hurt, even after hours on the computer typing. |

So basically they reskinned G3, finally fixed all the performance crap they should have fixed for G3 and called it a new game?
Or at least, that's what the demo looks like to me, and if I remember correctly, the G3 demo ran fine while the final didn't. |

Since most places you might buy em usually end up like 4$ for 4 pairs + 8$ s&h, I ended up buying spykids3d for 9$ which has 4 pairs included, probably other 3d movies around that have em at same/cheaper prices then the rip off glasses sold. True they're not the plastic / deluxe ones but they do the... |

Look at the ratio of displayport to dvi/hdmi monitors and then try to say it's no big deal. Displayport is and will likely remain nothing more than a wannabe hdmi replacement. It failed to get market ground and there's no sign that it will take off more then it is at current. I don't even have a th ... |

That's another question, why does it need to be the max res? A lot of people drop the res of some games to enable them to get better frame rates. "Let's face it Anti-aliasing is much more important that resolution." - opinion ATI have usually gone for quality rather than performance, and running th... |

I'm sticking with Nvidia. You mean the same Nvidia that have blamed monitor makers for the poor working timing and custom resolution and EIDID handling that Nvidia drivers have had with just about every driver? Both sides are the same, they count on marketing bull and rigged tech. demos and count o... |

If you're gonna go with theoretical remodels of the outputs how about this:
3 non-standard connectors and 3 sets of dual-connector dongles included. 3x dual-dvi, 3x dual-hdmi and 3x dual-dp.
A bit like this hp 8400gs I have has just 1 non-standard connector to dual-vga. |

The pedals stick on and/or off, the shift stick is nothing but a glorified 2 way pov hat and while it's resistance is of some use once you unlock the 100% strength of the motors, it's totally free-moving otherwise. Overall it'd be nicer if it was a larger wheel too. I can't compare it to anything el... |

And looked how that turned out, instead of making a standard both sides can use, they tried to use it as yet another proprietary standard that's only good for tech. demos and utterly useless in actual games. |

To what end? I've wasted enough space of this thread already. Suffice to say, when a company doesn't support it's products, it gets blacklisted and the hardware put on the stress relief pile. |

These look like active converters to me (due to their formfactor). I really dont see why these would not just work fine.
They look passive to me apart from the typical apple-white look. No AC adapter visible. |

You were lucky then, even the 37w had many revisions, including many probleme shared with the 42w2 I have. I read about em while researching my own problems.
Still as I said, even including all these flaws, it still beats the name brands. Was much cheaper too boot. |

Westinghouse is nice sure, till the display freezes, the input needs special timings defined so it doesn't push the image a pixel row up, fails to display an image on input2 because nothing is hooked up to input1. Although, compared to the 'is it on yet' startup time of samsung and other 'top' brand... |

And shortly after release these chips will join aegia physx in obscur designs that never match the hardware potential due to software pitfalls. |

Contacting logitech is extremely pointless, they either don't respond or give out general replies which basically look for the first 3 keyword matches and send, often very unrelated, replies.
Is that what happened to you?
Yep, more than once. |

Yeah, it sounds like you had a bad experience. In what environment were your pedals used? Carpet? Pets? I'm wondering if things like carpet, lint, dust, pet hair, spilled fluids could be factors. Maybe Logitech would have hooked you up, too. Did you contact them? No pets, no spills, no carpets, not... |

The DFP was one of the most popular wheels in the sim racing community and Logitech's premium wheel until the G25 came along. The DFP features 900deg rotation, paddle shifters, plenty of wheel-mounted buttons, and a sequential shifter. Happens to be the one I own and to which I refered as crappy qu... |

Which is a shame really, I've sworn off logitech for just about anything except maybe mice. I've had keyboards, a wheel w/ pedals, multiple gamepads, and a harmony remote. All of which had the same issue with low quality parts and severely lacking quality control. I miss the days of thrustmaster, I ... |

What's to stop people from making a second steam account that isn't listed as AUS located? I've read people doing something similar to get around country-specific blocks on xbox/ps3 online things. |
