That is incredible, thank you so much for your help Jack! The game is so smooth now, it's unbelievable! It comes with a few caveats, but limiting FPS to around 60 makes it more tolerable. The issues are that Fiona's time stop ability last for less time the higher the FPS and the camera moves faster ...

Greetings. I know this forum is dedicated mainly to widescreen hacks and such, but I imagine you might be able to help. Contrary to common belief, Shrek 2 Team Action does not have its gameplay locked to 38FPS, if you play it in windowed mode or force Vsync on, gameplay will run at 60FPS, no speed u...

I apologize if bumping is against the rules, but here's a quick video showcasing the widescreen hack in action.

Greetings. I've recently come into possession of the PC version of Mega Man X7, which was released only in Korea. The game refuses to install on non-Korean PC's, but I've developed a workaround based on various pieces of information from the internet. If you are by chance looking for the method I've...

Okay, that's because dgvoodoo doesn't support this game; despite being a 2003 game, they must've decided to use the latest DX9 renderer for it. I'm not sure what other tools you need, but what you need is a way to force the game to stretch to fill your screen.

Hey there, it looks like you squished the image down to emulate a 21:9 aspect ratio when stretched, but the game still renders black bars. Because of the black bars, I'm not sure if what I'm going to post will work as I think they're part of the image, but they're also there in 16:9 format as well. ...

Hmm, it looks like the solution czarman came up with isn't perfect; UI elements and anything that's in 4:3 aspect will be bound to the top left corner of the game, and can make screen transitions bothersome as it only covers a corner. The results screen is a perfect demonstration of what happens. Is...

Now all that's left is to update the PCgamingwiki article on how to achieve widescreen. I'd do it if I had the know how, but what it seems like is forcing the game to use a different aspect ratio via hex editing, adjusting the FoV, and writing your desired resolution in the ini file, but I don't hav...

Damn, you're like a wizard when it comes to this stuff, great work! Well now I ought to honor the bounty. As for the 60FPS limit, the first game also had the same, so I imagine that the game has just a hex lock, seeing that RenderWare supports uncapped framerate. Unless Konami programmed all of the ...

But that's not proper widescreen, that's stretched. I would know since I made the article for this game on pcgamingwiki.

Hello everyone, I have come here to request a widescreen fix for the aforementioned game. It's a Renderware game if it means anything, but it seems like it may be a rare title as well, it's hard to find copies of this game for PC anywhere. I have found one other topic about this game that never got ...

The low framerate thing seems like it might be the issue of older DirectX versions not being fully supported on newer OSes. If it uses DX8, you could use the DX8 to DX9 converter, but you already seem to be using DGVoodoo, which will convert your game to DX11. Here it is just in case. http://enbdev....

First off, I know there's already a topic or two about this game, but I'm asking for a specific answer that Google can't seem to answer. One method for getting widescreen support in this game is to use a hex edited EXE that matches to your current display, but another one involves the use of Thirtee...

I've made a similar thread on PCgamingwiki's forum, because I was unable to make an account here. I was kindly told how to make an account, so I did, and I hope I have more success here. Anyways. Hello there. I have recently bought a retail copy of The Polar Express for PC, since the holiday season ...
