Hi guys, Not sure where to put this request, so general gaming it is. A friend of mine has giving me a code for Destiny 2 which can only be activated on a machine with a 1080 or 1080ti in it. I don't own either card. He already owns this game and can't activate it again I guess. Do any of you have e...

500W should be plenty for your rig. Those calculators are usually on the conservative side. Have you tried unplugging everything but the essentials to pinpoint what the culprit might be? Also, it seems that you have been issues even before you got your RX480; which might point to the fact that some ...

Because of the release of the Redux mod I have started playing gta 5 single player again. Sadly a good 21:9 fix (to remove black bars in cut-scenes and to move the map to the side of the screen) is not available. I've compared his patched EXE with original, and see that he used "54 55 15 40&quo...

Argh the black bars were the least of my worries, tracking enemies with markers is basically impossible right now, and interacting with small things is very hard.

At least the devs same to consider us 21:9 users.

The game looks nice in 21:9 but there are lots of issues with ui elements being misaligned.

Yeah, objective markers seem to be misaligned. Looks a lot like MGS 5 without the fix.

Playing the game at 21:9 and it works decent enough. Small black bars on the sides of the screen though. But multi-monitor seems a different story...

FOV could be higher as well. A setting of 100% feels like its between 70 and 80.

I have followed the guide on page 12 to make my own fix. Using HxD I replaced the 8 characters that come before 55 55 15 40 with 8A E3 18 40. Sadly the cut-sceness look a little zoomed in to me. In the guide SaskiaAedirn talked about 2 different values, but I assume you only need to change one, corr...

The whole idea of variable refresh rate technology is that the impact of fps drops and fps increase isn't as noticeable as compared to a monitor that has a fixed refresh. Also no tearing and no lag that's is normally caused by v-sync. Anyway, I am happy to answer any further questions you have, sinc...

Am I correct in assuming that no fov fix for the campaign has been made? I tried renaming the bfh.exe to bf4.exe and using Flawless Widescreen's bf4 fix, but after renaming the .exe, the game won't start. Any idea's?

Just update your driver when it is either old or it has a optimization for a game you want to play. So if your playing the Witcher III, then stay with 358.91, if you also want to play the Overwatch beta, upgrade to 365.10. Overwatch does not have 21:9 support, but still is a good game though.

I have been playing Mirror's Edge Catalyst in the closed beta that started yesterday and am happy to report that the game runs well at 21:9. This was expected since it is a game build on the frostbite engine. Pretty much the same graphical settings as bf4, but a little less options. Maybe because it...

I believe there are 2x 6 pin to 8 pin adapters witch you can use, assuming you psu supports 8 pin + 2x 6pin. Also I would recommend a minimum of 500W. If your current psu is a lesser known/low quality model, then I would replace it anyway.

Does it matter whether I change monitor before or after installing Graphics card. It does not. And do I take all the options offered through Nvidia- - 3D, Physics, Ge-Force Experience- etc.. Presume can tidy up the installed Nvidia programs later if necessary. Normally I install only the driver, th...

Graphcs card I'm switching from is an AMD Radeon so assume I should get rid of Catalyst Control Centre before installing the 980ti. Make sure you use DDU after uninstalling AMD software to completely remove the Radeon drivers. This way it is very unlikely that you will have driver conflicts. DDU ha...
