Mearlin, sorry for the large delay in response. I am subscribed to the thread but I may have had to ingore the email during a period of business. The problem is not at your end. For some while now Nvidia's drivers have broken the WinKey + P trick. I've personally tested the following drivers with th... |

suiken_2mieu, thanks for expressing an interest even though not from Australia.
Given that OmniAtlas is close by I'm going to send it to them.
Such regional discrimination doesn't quite sit well with me. I suppose I do it to simplify my postage issues a little. |

Under windows 8 (and possibly earlier versions of windows) a single Nvidia 6XX Card and higher makes TripleHead2go redundant. Nevertheless, would anyone in Australia like my used TripleHead2Go Digital Edition? Museum piece? It's about four years old but still functional. The unit is free, I may ask ... |

Toothless spoon. Glad it is going fairly well. If by " I find that it's not exactly optimised for multi monitor same with media player" you mean to reference problems with keeping a metro app open side by side with desktop apps and opening the start menu on another monitor then, yes, there... |

Toothless spoon. It will be absolutely worth upgrading to Win 8 if you have a multiple monitor setup and an Nvidia card. The reasons why are contained in the article. Just note that only the more recent Nvidia cards support, on a single card, three or four monitors. |

Hi Leader bee. The forum is built to fuck with older threads. Doing so resurrects the thread. So your necro is most welcome. Suggestions ⋅ The main thing I would suggest is to consider the length of your cables. I've found that cables longer than 3m can result in the monitor not being dete... |

tymbrwlf, instead of having application defined profiles that switch between working (independent/non surround) and gaming (span/surround) modes you can use Windows Key + P. At least, that is, if you are in windows 8. If you are on Windows 7 or Vista you can tell us if it works for you under your OS... |

If there is no misunderstanding between us, you are (and therefore I should be) able to switch between 3-monitor surround and proper 3-desktops mode. Yes, that's right. ... It's a lot less hassle to unplug a DP connector when I can't do without SLI on a single screen as opposed to moving a DVI conn... |

From what I've read, it seems that 670 and 680 are now able to run three displays on a single card. So if I had connected three displays to a single card, win + P switch would let me use all three screens as well. Yes (at least if we ignore SLI issues by, for example, removing the second card). I d... |

Answering my own question... On the official Nvidia forums there is Nvidia Surround on Windows 8 . Many users report the same issue. Crysis 2 worked fine in full screen mode at a bezel corrected resolution greater than 5040 X 1050. That was using Nvidia drivers 310.54 (beta). So that settles the issue: A GTX680 can drive three DVD-D (only) monitors for gaming and work, using three DVD-D cables, with a DisplayPort (Male) to DVI (F... |
