I have a 1920x1080 native res monitor. Is is somehow possible to force an ultrawide res(like 3840 x 1080) on my monitor? I know it won't be actually showing the 3840 width res but I would expect it to scale to 1920 width and the height would scale accordingly to 1920x540(?) or so, having black bars ...

No one has a solution or fix?

Knowing SEGA, this game is dead. Minimum patch that it has already gotten is all we will probably get. :(

If some genious found a way to fix cutscenes aswell, it would be a perfectly good fix =) ..and even better, fix hud for Eyefinity res Yeah, the fov level during cutscenes is not proper and drastically reduces the cinematic feel of the conversations/game. Partial fix is I've bound a key to fov 40 an...

It was obviously based around 16:9, so widescreen users shouldn't worry, only eyefinity and such.

Vert- is Vert-, so yes we should worry about this no matter what screen one runs.

Tried the demo, like the game but FOV is indeed not good. Any word on a better fix. Racer_S not interested in doing a fix for this game?

No FOV change was needed,

For those that get dizzy or nauseous, a FOV hack is definitely needed. Hence, me asking.

Guess ATI users are out of luck since the hack only works with 1.0 and no sign of Racer_S updating the hack to work with 1.03. :(

Sorted it, lauch game 3840x1024 on windowed mode, then use Sizer or similar software to resize the window to 5040x1050, all HUD moves to the right place then. :cheers

Nice that its wider but the FOV is just way off, looks so cropped. :doh

Any way to change or edit this? Why must all console game makers assume what is good on a TV is good for someone sitting up close on a PC setup.

I find gameplay hindered, especially when using parachute, with the default close FOV. Not to mention I get dizzy and slightly ill feeling. Bleh.
