Hello guys ... So ... the new patch doesn't help with the HUD in SP and the new Crysis2.exe disables a lot of the Cvars that previously worked for singleplayer ... There is a way to scale the HUD ... it isn't perfect but some of you may find it better than it currently is. To use Cvars to scale the ... |

I know I started this thread about this particular game but this issue is much more than this one game. It seems (as shown by GeneralAdmission) that if you enable Eyefinity by utilizing ATI's SDK then you will have to also implement other different solutions to get other forms of TripleHead to work.... |

So there is no solution to "resolve" this distortion? Or even to fix it to be not that hard distorted. Correct. |

What I know now is that ATI didn't assist them with the implementation. ATI didn't see the code before it was deployed. They only received the patch at the time of public release for the "Eyefinity Ready" certification. How it was implemented was all Ubisoft. We'll know more soon. ATI is wanting to... |

Ibrin ... I don't think you should be apologizing for anything ... As I said earlier ... Removing black bars would never be about what GPU you happen to have and so this stinks of ATi telling them "how to" do it in such a way that it conveniently excludes other GPU's ... especially as the config now... |

Dave can fix this right now if he really wanted to ... now all he has to say to us is that he is on the case and will do his best to get it sorted with his contacts at UBI ... then keep us up informed of course. But no ... he spins us some rubbish. Tamlin ... please can you point out these shenaniga... |

I'm curious, why start with us and why not start with asking Matrox? Please show me one example of where Matrox got a developer to do a fix that was to the exclusions of any other GPU's ... (and rather than fix this ... you deflect the issue away from yourself.) You have as much as admitted it ... G... |

Guys, we are not adovating in any way that there should be exclusions for other hardware support. What we do is adovcate (very hard) support for Eyefinity and we provide lots of hardware supporting it and the software know-how in order to get developers/publishers to include it in their titles. How... |

But, whose to say that some developers won't implement NVIDIA 3D Surround to the exclusion of ATI Eyefinity? True ... but we don't need ATi (seemingly) starting this VERY BAD direction. |

I imagine they will spin some line ... the only way ATi can redeem themselves is to get this changed ASAP ... not in a few weeks but NOW. If they can't or won't then I feel the WSGF should no longer support them. Not because of this one game but because of how bad this is for the future of ALL Tripl... |

Whatever the reason ... it stinks for all TripleHead gamers if this this sort of thing happens because one manufacturer or other has a fear of loosing exclusivity. |

Oh no! ... if you have it working then I'm beginning to think this is an Eyefinity ONLY fix. And ... it is looking like they deliberately fixed this for Eyefinity only based on that line in the config file (I hope I'm wrong) ... which is very bad news for all TripleHeaders including Eyefinity owners... |

Hello ... I can't remember how I fixed it for the center screen ... I think this may be what I did ... Is there a line in the ... TV_CD_DVD.ini ... under the heading ... [WinDrv.WindowsClient] ... that says ... ScaleHUDX=1.000000 (or similar)? If so try changing it to ... ScaleHUDX=0.333333. Also ..... |
