Solutions & Anomalies

Solution

Native.
The game will initially run at your native res. In-game graphic options can be found "outside", on the far right.
Settings are saved in My Documents\My Games\DiRT2\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config.xml which can be edited in Notepad.

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution

Native, Hor+ gameplay.
HUD: scales correctly, centered
Menu interface & loading screens: Hor+
Real-time cutscenes: Hor+
Fullscreen videos: stretched

3D Solution

Single player anomalies

None really, but for tanukiproofing:
The whole first-person menu navigation appears to be Hor+/Vert-. The constant bobbing makes it hard to detect or demonstrate, and maybe I'm simply mistaken, but none of my numerous screenshots show pure Hor+ behavior. Only menus, loading screens and transitions in-between are affected so this shouldn't be considered an obstacle for certification anyway. (Surround is immensely Hor+, see Surround section.)
